"Seven years ago, I again began to paint. Before that, life got in the way.

My work varies widely as does my inspiration. It might come from rocks, trees and water of the rocky coast of Maine or the solitude, light and air of the high desert of New Mexico. A piece can emerge from the first brush stroke on a blank canvas or an element of the human body, the perfect form.

Inside/Out represents interests, ideas and insights explored over the last few years. My work is intended to be fluid and suggestive not static and specific. I invite your eye and participation. Make of it what you choose or what your imagination will allow.
